Orange Sponge Cake

Smart Cooker- Orange Sponge Cake

 Ingredients

Optima Sponge Flour

300 g

Eggs

5

Orange Juice

60ml

Orange peel (finely grated)

1 tbsp

Melted Butter

70 g

 

  1. Beat Optima Sponge Flour Mix with 5 eggs at low speed with an electric mixer until just combined. Then add in orange juice, mix well. Turn to high speed and continue beating for a few minutes until the texture becomes creamy and white.
  2. Turn to low speed, add in melted butter and grated orange peel. Beat for a minute until well combined.
  3. Brush and grease the Smart Cooker inner pot with butter. Pour batter into the greased inner pot.
  4. Select ‘Cake’ function, bake for 45 minutes.
